"over 25 years ago I began this F.T. line, working back from SarahTyrer who married Robert Cook, and their married life was spent in the Drouin West district, where both of them are buried. So from Sarahs' info I back tracked, and discovered to the best of my ability the following... Coroners' inquest at MERINO...1st March 1859. Daughter Martha Pescott stated...he had arrived at her home very unwell. He said that he had fallen off a scaffold at Mr Bloomfields' at Hamilton, about a week previously.
