There are many facilities provided on this site for your benefit. The searching capabilities are very good and this is backed up by good charting and reporting. The privacy of information is of great importance. No details of living people can be viewed by casual visitors. As the administrator I can also restrict Users to how many branches of the tree they can view. If this becomes too restrictive as your tree or interests develop, it is only a matter of telling me why you would like wider access to other family members. Further information on privacy, general hints and other matters can be found by clicking on the FAQ link under the Help icon. One of the recently added features is the Tree tab. This provides an interactive chart of the ancestors and descendants of the person being viewed. This is a grreat way of navigating around the family. There is also the new Shared Note feature. This is a useful addition if you wish to write a family story that involves a number of people. You write the note once and then link this note to all of the associated people. Having tried many stand-alone family history programs in the past, I am now using the web site as my primary database. I encourage other Users to do the same. Apart from your ability to create charts and reports for your own use, I can provide you with the ability to download a Gedcom file which you can use to 'back-up' your own family data. I do not have any further information on any person that is not displayed for everyone to look at. The only thing I may be able to help you with is to provide you with better quality images than some of the ones displayed. The small band of people researching our family would welcome you to become a User. If you don't feel confortable using the web site, I would be happy to post the information for you. Please let me know if I can do anything else for you. Finally I caution everyone that some of the information displayed may be incorrect or incomplete. More on my holiday
1 November 2009 - 7:46:23pm Now at Taree, NSW after driving up from Melbourne via Beechworth, Jingellic, Tumut, Yass, Goulburn, Oberon, Lithgow, Singleton, Pokolbin and Maitland. We will be staying in the Taree/Port Macquarie area for the next few days then heading back to Melbourne down the coast. Stuart

This web site is very much a work in progress and was established to provide the ability for family members to work together in developing their own family history. The site provides registered Users (account holders) with the ability to add and change information relevant to their own family. Users are encouraged to use this web site as their very own and to update their family information as and when their research finds more or different data. I have provided the web space and continue to maintain the site not only for my own benefit but for the benefit of all family members. Having your family 'on the web' provides the means for other family members to make contact with you. Cousins searching the internet for family members will eventually find this site and hopefully will make contact.
